Welcome to the on-line home of Duffey Legal Video. We offer a full range of video services to legal professionals in the Mid-Willamette Valley of Oregon.  Our service area extends from Salem, the state capitol, south to the Eugene/Springfield area.

Legal video work is not a side business for us.  We don't shoot weddings on the weekends and “fill-in” with a few depositions here and there. Legal video is all we do!

State-of-the-art high definition video cameras with all digital workflow are used in conjunction with studio-quality field audio equipment enabling us to deliver video, audio and stills in almost any format.  Please visit our services page for more details.

A complimentary downtown Corvallis conference room with speakerphone, PowerPoint projector and free on-site parking is available to our clients.

Please explore our site to learn more about the services we offer, our rates, general information regarding video depositions and, finally, our on-line scheduling page.

Hello, my name is Chris Duffey and I am the owner of Duffey Legal Video.

I came to this industry through my wife who started court reporting back when Johnny Carson still ruled the late night airwaves and stamps cost 29 cents.  I credit her with making me aware of the legal videography field and encouraging me to find out more about it.  At the time, I was looking for a change, so with my background in still photography, the switch to video seemed like a fit; it was.  Adding in-house legal video services to her already established court reporting business made the commitment in time and money that much easier to make.  I jumped in with both feet and haven't looked back since.

I truly enjoy what I do and understand the serious nature of the business.  I think this shows through in the way I run my business and communicate with my clients.  I always strive to present a professional appearance.  I arrive well ahead of time and try to be prepared for anything.  I take the quality of my work very seriously and continually work to maintain or improve on it.  Finally, I understand the time-sensitive nature of the business and will do what it takes to fulfill the production commitments I make.  Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you some time in the future.

Sincerely, Chris Duffey

Chris Duffey is a Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS) which is a certification sanctioned by the National Court Reporters Association.

Pictures of the Day: Monday, Feb. 8

Beyond the grief expressed so keenly in the opening photograph, Monday's show offers some pleasures as well, in Slides 6 and 11.

Pictures of the Day: Friday, Feb. 5

Three photographs that stand out in Friday's show do so because of elements that dominate, while occupying only a small portion of the frame.
